Residential High Efficiency Toilet Retrofit Rebate Program

 

Instructions

The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority has rebates available for customers to replace toilets in homes built prior to 1992. New High Efficiency toilets must be installed between February 1, 2020, and September 30, 2022. Rebates are limited to one per customer. Rebate amounts are as follows,
but in no case shall exceed the purchase price (and installation cost, if option 2 is selected).

1. Community-wide Program
Eligibility: Property owners or customers installing the product in a home built prior to 1992, in the Authority’s water service area.
• Replace an inefficient toilet with a 1.28 gpf or less single flush ($100 max rebate)
• Replace an inefficient toilet with a 1.28 gpf max flush dual flush toilet ($150 max rebate)
2. Income Eligible Senior Citizens or Disabled Veterans Installation Program
Eligibility: Customers must meet the guidelines for the Authority’s Senior/Disabled Veteran Discount program.The Authority reserves the right to verify income.
• A maximum $200 rebate is available to eligible applicants who have a licensed plumber install a qualifying toilet (see Community-wide program)
Step 1: Purchase Your Qualifying High Efficiency Toilet

Step 2: Install the toilet in your home and dispose of old toilet to ensure it will not be reused

Step 3: Complete the application and submit with receipt. Applications may be submitted online at fkaa.com, in person or by mail to FKAA, PO Box 5293, Key West, FL 33045. Submittals may also me made via email at info@fkaa.com.

Step 4: A credit will be applied to your Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority bill.
